Don’t Pull On Me, Devil
There's a Devil knockin' at my door,
Said he’d heal the pain Life's ensured.
The demon laughed, and showed his grin,
Whispered low—"Just let me in."
Lately, Life feels heavy, like a concrete door,
The Devil hisses, "Life's but a war.
You're weak, you're lost, you're barely scrapin' by,
So instead, take my hand, and Truly Thrive!"
What you want, devil?
Why you care?
Is it just to pull me—
Down to Your Lair?
I said, "I'm tired, but I still don't trust,
Your honeyed words—they're slick with rust.
C'mon now—What's your game aboutt?
You think you've got me, but I'm calling you out!"
What you want, devil?
Why you care?
Is it just to pull me—
Down to Your Lair?
That devil muttered low with wicked flare,
"Sign my deal, and you'll go somewhere.
Do it now, and you'll be free—
Free to live—Free to chase your dreams."
The flames are risin', burnin' through my mind,
This fight I'm in—is it Time to Align?
What you want, devil?
Why you care?
Is it just to pull me—
Down to Your Lair?
But I said, "No trust for devils here,
Your silver tongue won't buy my fear.
Your tricks are old, they're crystal clear,
Beneath your mask, I see your fear!"
Don't pull on me, devil!
Don't call my NAME.
Your fire burns, but I won't play your game.
You tried to drag me, Devil, to your Lair,
You reached for my Soul, but I broke your Snare.
You'd watched me stumble,
You had smelled my despair...
But Then I Stood Tall,
I Defied your Glare!
Because I Won't Go. Down. There...
I Won't Go, Down There!!
